The British Council received 130 entries from over 40 countries worldwide. Panels of experts worked independently to find the entries that best show excellence in innovation and functionality to meet the needs of English language learners and teachers around the world.
Ann Attridge, CEO said,
“The team and I are delighted to win this award for Journey 2 Basic Skills. We believe it’s the first digital course to help hard to reach learners grasp all four literacy skills. The restrictions to classroom and face to face learning during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic has meant a much greater demand for our online course and tutor support tools. We’re very proud to receive this important recognition from the British Council.”
