They can use the test results to put students into different groups and choose the most appropriate course and learning materials.<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s changed?<\/h3>\n<p>First of all, the new Full English Skills Test for intermediate learners is now available on the Digital Learning Hub. Previously the full English Skills Test was only available on the Journey 2 English platform.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, the multi-level Full English Skills Test has been split into three tests; beginner, intermediate and advanced. The new intermediate (B1\/B2) level test has now been added to the Digital Learning Hub.<\/p>\n<h3>Why have we done this?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To make it quicker and easier for students to sit a test that\u2019s appropriate for their level of proficiency.<\/li>\n<li>To allow tutors to unlock the most appropriate test for each student\u2019s level.<\/li>\n<li>To make it easier and quicker for tutors to mark, using the Digital Learning Hub notifications.<\/li>\n<li>To give tutors control over resits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How is it different from the Short English Skills Test?<\/h3>\n<p>See the table below to see the difference between the short and full tests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1702 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/klik2learn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Short-English-Skills-Test-copy-1-e1624374854156.png\" alt=\"English Skills Test\" width=\"600\" height=\"314\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Students can repeat the Short English Skills Test as and when they like as it is auto-marked.<\/p>\n<p>Students who want to take the Full English Skills Test again (resit) will need to ask their tutor because the speaking and writing sections of this test are tutor marked.<\/p>\n<h3>How can students take the Full English Skills Test?<\/h3>\n<p>As a tutor you need to install the Full English Skills Test for your students.<\/p>\n<h3>What else is changing?<\/h3>\n<p>In the next few weeks, we will be adding the beginner and advanced Full English Skills test to the Digital Learning Hub.<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s the benefit?<\/h3>\n<p>Students can try the Short English Skills test at three levels whenever they like.<\/p>\n<p>Tutors can use the Full English Skills test at three levels to help place students at the start of term and assess their ongoing progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New: Intermediate English Skills Test New Product Update Using the Digital Learning Hub, tutors can activate&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":1692,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[11],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>New: Intermediate English Skills Test - Klik2learn<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"New: Intermediate English Skills Test.
