So far t<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hree students have passed their OET exam and are now seeking employment with the NHS, with others due to sit their exam before Christmas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> this video<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to find out more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"East Midlands HKBNO Welcome Hub - Occupational English Test Pilot Project\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3deNGKNYEtI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>A tailored approach that offers convenience<\/h2>\n<p>By offering a full online English Skills test at the beginning of the process as well as specialist tutor support, we could tailor each student&#8217;s journey as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of students have 20+ years experience and therefore have a wealth of expertise and experience to offer. But first they need to improve their confidence to communicate with patients in English and pass their OET exam in order to seek work in the NHS. For many, finding time to study in a face-to-face context while working and looking after children is a major barrier. The self-study online course gives them the opportunity to learn at their own pace whenever they can at home or on the go.<\/p>\n<p>Ten students scored a B2 standard (Common European Framework Reference) and started studying the <a href=\"https:\/\/klik2learn.com\/destination-oet\/\">Destination OET<\/a> course immediately. The other nine students had their English level graded at B1 (CEFR) and enrolled on the <a href=\"https:\/\/klik2learn.com\/course\/journey-2-english\/\">Journey 2\u00a0 English<\/a> course. This is to help them to build up their confidence and English proficiency before starting the Destination OET course.<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;Completely unique&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/klik2learn.com\/destination-oet\/\">Destination OET<\/a> course provided by Klik2learn is, in my experience, completely unique to other high stakes tests preparation courses as it leads candidates directly into a nursing role within the NHS.\u00a0 The final goal is definitive and within grasp.&#8221; Heather Ross, K2L OET Midlands Tutor.<\/p>\n<p>The platform&#8217;s Mock Exam, which is accessible to students only after they have completed all of the platform activities and a readiness assessment, is completed under examination conditions and allows them to get a very clear idea of the expected outcome.
