RSE Interview with Ann Attridge

Learn more about Klik2learn founder, Ann Attridge, in this month’s Meet the Entrepreneur feature of RSE Enterprise Fellow.

Ann has been at the forefront of education technology (EdTech) since 2010 when she was offered an RSE Enterprise Fellowship. Throughout her years in public sector education, Ann was hooked on using technology to improve the learning process.

She said,“ I was immediately hooked and yet frustrated at the limitations we encountered when trying to implement it in classrooms. Following a successful application to the RSE, I was able finally to put my ideas into practice.”

What is the best business lesson you’ve learnt so far?

Don’t just talk – listen. Walk around in your potential customer’s shoes for a while and understand their problems before you offer them a solution.

What keeps you going when the going gets tough?

An innate desire to find solutions and not be beaten by a problem – plus the reluctance to let my excellent core team down.

How did the Enterprise Fellowship help you get to where you are today?

It was crucial. It enabled me to make the break from full time employment with the safety net of a year to learn and experiment. It also provided a network of contacts within the business world which are still important today.
